Public Eye : Hey Eva Cheng, let's walk the talk

What a splendid idea! Activists trying to save the Kowloon Star Ferry bus terminus from government destruction want transport secretary Eva Cheng to put her money where her mouth is. Ms Cheng says it's no big deal to walk the 15 minutes from the new terminus to the ferry pier. She says walking is good for you. The activists want her to practise what she preaches - doing the walk herself in hot weather. Go on, Eva, do it. Leave your chauffeur-driven car at home. In fact, don't just do it this once. Give up your car for good. Tell your government colleagues to do the same. It will help the environment, ease traffic congestion and save taxpayers' money. You've talked the talk, now walk the walk.
